The children of Anguilla came out for a day of
face-painting, juggling, craft-making and hooping!
Believe it or not, dancing is not common in Anguilla!
But that didn't slow down these young hoopers who
made their own hoops to keep, and then choreographed
and performed their own hoop troupe show on stage for
the crowd.

Our fire buddy Lamount (The Human Volcano, Tampa FL, right) and I loved bringing our fire dances to the island! By the end of the week, we were local 'celebrities' on this island of 12,000. The children weren't shy about calling us "Hula Hoop" and "Fire Man." |
